A universally accessible space integrating public and private waterfront uses, including hotel and condiminiums.
The design of the green roof and perimeter landscape within the privately held Thunder Bay Waterfront Development provide a link between the Vue Waterfront Condominiums and the public spaces of Prince Arthur’s Landing within the redevelopment of the Thunder Bay Waterfront. Siting these richly planted roof landscapes between and in concert with the architecture of the residential condominiums and hotel preserves the view corridors from existing downtown streets to the harbour and the Sleeping Giant formation in the distant waters of Lake Superior. This universally accessible space integrates the waterfront with the private and public landscapes which envelop the hotel and residential development.
