Windstone Lakes, City of Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada 

Windstone Lakes is located in the City of Steinbach, just 50km southeast of Winnipeg.  The Windstone Lakes is a 160 acre residential development site that will include a mix of entry level housing, mid and large size lots, as well as multi-family units and commercial space.  The master plan was developed to provide a variety of housing types to meet the housing needs of this fast growing City.  The master plan includes 833 single-family and multiple-family units. 

Parcels of land will be dedicated to parks, lakes, and recreational green spaces that will include re-vegetated native wetland and grassland environments.   

The project has begun its first phase of construction which is set to be completed in 2008.
